European Penitentiary Training Academies Network
On 15-16 November 2016, the annual conference of the European Penitentiary Training Academies took place in the main training institute of the Polish Prison Service in Kalisz.
The first day of the conference was dedicated to radicalisation in prisons. EuroPris and RAN have jointly taken the initiative for making a European digital collection of staff training that has already been developed in this field. A template that has been developed for this purpose was discussed at the conference. Other staff training issues on the agenda were Disabled inmates and English language training for staff. During the EPTA conference, EuroPris and EPTA signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
