The Estonian Academy of Security Sciences is organising an international conference on “Security education and education in security“ held on 30 November 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia and online.

The annual international conference organized by the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences addresses various topical security and internal security related issues. The conference brings together experts and practitioners both from Estonia and abroad.

This year, the conference will focus on the topic of security in the context of education both in Estonia and elsewhere in the world. The education provided to security professionals in ensuring the sense of security in the society plays a considerable role, however, what is the more general responsibility of education in ensuring safety and security? How to safeguard a secure future, what is the meaning of learning and teaching, how will the education provided at schools today influence our security in the future, which competences must be developed in the society and what kind of risks must we consider?

We invite everyone interested in the field of security, internal security and education to listen to the discussions, think along and debate on these and many other topics at the conference.

The conference will take place on Nov 30, 2022 at the Conference Centre of the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences at 61 Kase Street, Tallinn, Estonia.
