European Penitentiary Training Academies Network
The Czech Prison Service Academy presented one of its innovative methods implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic in initial training to the Czech media.
The teachers’ creative initiative was to buy dummies and adopt them in practical lessons for new uniformed staff. This innovation helps protect the students from touching each other when learning the use of means of restraint.
Director František Vlach is going to share the Academy’s experience with the measures taken in connection with the coronavirus situation with the representatives of European academies at the EPTA Conference organized by the Slovak partners in September 2020.
