“A series of international English webinars will continue in the autumn of 2021” said the Director of the Czech Prison Service Academy to the participants of the last EPTA Conference. “Our webinars have replaced traditional workshops of penitentiary English in the reaction on the pandemic situation”.
Prison professionals who want to practice their professional English are invited to apply for the following webinars:
The webinars are held on the SKYPE FOR BUSINESS platform between 13:00 and 15:00 CET.
The participant will be asked to send their short BIOs and to complete a pre-task requested by the respective facilitator.

Introducing facilitator Aurimas Nauséda, Lithuania
Aurimas Nausėda – a specialist of English philology and the international projects’ coordinator.
Aurimas has been working at the Training Centre of the Prison Department under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania for more than three years.
The teaching role includes the English language trainings, good practice of dynamic security for the Lithuanian correctional officers, the specialists and the students of the Training Centre.
The projects’ coordinator role covers communication, presentations, preparation of the documents and other activities related to the national and the international cooperation within the context of the penitentiary staff skills’ development.
