Report on the ‘Modernising EU justice systems by boosting training of justice professionals’ Conference (European Commission,2021)

On May 6^th & 7^th 2021, the European Commission organized a conference on “Modernising EU justice systems by boosting training of justice professionals”, jointly with the Portuguese Council Presidency (programme). This online conference was an important milestone event for the dissemination and implementation of the new ambitious European judicial training strategy for 2021-2024. The two-day-conference included working groups gathered by professions and keynote presentations on the new challenges and training needs, the e-learning strategies to develop as well as the future of judicial training.

The EPTA network was represented by Cédric Le Bossé, who intervened on the EU Law training for prison staff and drafted a report on the event. The European Commission will also issue an official report on the event which will be posted as soon as it is made available.
