A minor is a person aged 14-18 who committed unlawful acts and has been sentenced to undergo liberty deprivation measures or any other measure or sentence, in accordance with the law of each country.
The main concern with a sentenced minor is the continuity of his/her education. Therefore, from the very beginning, the specialists will determine the socio-cultural background of the minor, as well as his/her educational needs, in order to establish the priorities and the steps of the individualized rehabilitating intervention process.
The social reintegration activities must promote the minor`s mental and physical health, develop self-esteem and sense of responsibility, as well as skills and competencies which will help the minor avoid committing any new unlawful deed.
